Hill — American special premium Tier V destroyer.

One of the draft designs for a destroyer flotilla leader, production of which started at the end of World War I. Was armed with five main battery guns.

Hill was released as part of the Rogue Wave event with Update 0.8.5 and was available from June 27th, 2019 until July 22nd, 2019. She returned on sale from April 17th until May 1st, 2020. As of Update 0.9.11, she is available for 38.000 Coal in the Armory.

Player Opinion

Performance

Compared to her tech tree counterpart Nicholas, Hill has fewer health points (HP). To balance this, she has an added turret, better turning radius, and is slightly faster. Hill excels at hunting destroyers at her tier due to the limited amount of radar she will face. She performs best when utilizing islands for cover, baiting the enemy into her torpedo range. In open water, her Smoke Generator 

provides quick cover to allow for Hill to engage with guns or return to concealment.

Pros:

Five fast-reloading US 127mm guns
Good agility with a decent top speed.
Long-lasting American smoke.
Torpedo armament layout provides dedicated launchers to each side of the ship with an extra launcher that can engage either way.

Cons:

Short torpedo firing range.
Mediocre concealment.
Poor anti-aircraft armament.
Middle turret's firing angles are limited.
