Player Opinion

Pros:

    Cons:

      Research

As a premium ship, T-61 doesn't have any upgrades to research.

      Optimal Configuration

      Commander Skills

Key skills for T-61 commanders include a core destroyer build of Priority Target at Level 1, Last Stand at Level 2, Superintendent at Level 3, and Concealment Expert at Level 4. Many other useful skills such as Basic Firing Training, Adrenaline Rush, Torpedo Armament Expertise, and Expert Marksmen, highlight the versatile selection of skills the ship can take strengthening its guns, torpedoes, or team versatility.

      Camouflage

As a premium ship, T-61 comes included with Type 10 camouflage that lowers her detection radius, reduces the accuracy of incoming shells, and increases the amount of experience she earns.

      Signals

The T-61, as a normal premium destroyer, should take the standard flags for improving its offensive and defensive performance in battle. For offensive flags, these include India X-Ray (+1% chance of causing a fire for bombs and shells with a caliber above 160mm. / +0.5% chance of causing a fire for bombs and shells with a caliber below 160mm. / +5% to the risk of your ship's magazine detonating.) and Victor Lima (+1% chance of causing a fire for bombs and shells with a caliber above 160mm / +0.5% chance of causing a fire for bombs and shells with a caliber below 160mm. / +4% chance of causing flooding.) to improve the fire chance, and Juliet Whiskey Unaone (+15% chance of causing flooding. / +5% to the risk of your ship's magazine detonating.) to improve chance of flooding. For defensive and utility flags, November Foxtrot (-5% reload time on all consumables.) and Sierra Mike (+5% to the ship's maximum speed.) are the primary choices to reduce consumable cool-downs and increase the top speed, respectively. If excessive fire damage and detonations are of concern, the flags India Yankee (-20% to fire duration.) and Juliet Charlie (-100% to the risk of your ship's magazine detonating.) can be used to reduce time spent on fire and remove the chance of detonating entirely.

As T-61 is a premium ship, the economic and special signal flags can be mounted to further boost the economic and experience gains of the ship.

Note: Use of the Juliet Charlie signal makes detonation impossible.
