T-22 — German Tier V destroyer.

En la década de 1920, se construyeron varias series de destructores para la Reichsmarine. En realidad, los primeros eran versiones mejoradas de destructores que se remontan a la época de la Primera Guerra Mundial. Su desarrollo posterior se materializó en el Tipo 39, que se construyó como barco polivalente con un desplazamiento más pequeño. Se construyeron 15 barcos en total, y el buque líder T-22 entró en servicio en febrero de 1942. En 1942 y 1943, el barco participó en operaciones de patrullaje en el golfo de Vizcaya y la batalla de Sept-Îles, donde hundió el HMS Limbourne. En junio de 1944, se trasladó al Báltico. Player Opinion

Pros:

Tied with the Nicholas for fastest rate of fire of all Tier V destroyers.
All turrets can rotate 360 degrees.

Cons:

Slowest Tier V destroyer
Loses forward firing torpedo tubes her predecessors had.
Cannot reliably fire torpedoes from outside detection range without the Tier 4 commander skill Concealment Expert.
High shell arcs.
Very short smokescreen duration limits offensive smoking ability.

Research

Hull (B) is the first place captains will want to invest experience gains in T-22; the bigger her health pool, the longer she stays in a game. After that, the upgraded Fire Control System module to improve her main battery range is best, saving the improved Torpedo module for last (or skipping it altogether, as it is a fairly minor improvement).

Optimal Configuration

Upgrades

Main Battery Modification 1 and Propulsion Modification 1 are the top picks for Upgrade Slot 1 and Upgrade Slot 4. T-22 gains access to Upgrade Slot 2, which offers two decent options: Aiming Systems Modification 1 and Main Battery Modification 2. The former is recommended if playing T-22 without a captain who has Basic Firing Training and Expert Marksman as commander skills; otherwise, the latter is a better option as the penalty to her reload time is barely noticeable (while the buff to her turret traverse is quite noteworthy).

Commander Skills

Low-tier German DDs need skills that allow them to survive longer. Priority Target, Preventative Maintenance, High Alert, Last Stand, Vigilance, Survivability Expert, Concealment Expert, and Advanced Firing Training will all help in this regard.

Players can equip the following consumables on this destroyer: Damage Control Party, Smoke Generator, and Engine Boost.

Camouflage

Type 1, 2, or 5 camouflage can be equipped for credits; Types 1 or 5 are recommended at a minimum to reduce detectibility range.

Signals

The choice of which Signal Flags to mount will confer to the individual preference of each captain, and are subject to great variation, although there are certain flags which suit Destroyer gameplay better. Captains should mount India Yankee to decrease time to extinguish fires, mount November Foxtrot to decrease reload time of consumables, and mount Sierra Mike to increase the ship's maximum speed. To make their torpedoes more potent, captains should mount Juliet Whisky Unaone to increase chance of causing flooding and Juliet Charlie to mitigate risk to magazine detonation from mounting the former flag. If captains wish to buff their primary artillery, they are encouraged to mount Victor Lima + India X-ray to increase fire chance to HE shells.
