The WZ-131 is a Chinese tier 7 light tank.

W 1957 roku rozpoczęto prace projektowe nad lżejszą wersją wozu Type 59. Pojazd stworzono do walk na górzystych i bagnistych terenach południowych Chin. Pierwszy prototyp powstał w 1962 roku. Później konstrukcja przeszła kilka etapów modernizacyjnych.
