The 121 is a Chinese tier 10 medium tank.

1962'de Type 59 tabanlı yeni bir orta tank geliştirilmesine başlandı. Yeni tankta iyileştirilmiş ateş gücü ve zırh koruması olması amaçlanıyordu. Ancak kısa süre sonra proje iptal edildi. Daha sonra Type 69 tankının geliştirilmesi sırasında bazı teknik gelişmeler uygulandı. Tüm 121 tank prototipi Çin nükleer silah denemelerinde imha edildi.

The 121 marks the end of its Chinese medium line.
