In World of Warships gibt es derzeit 7 verschiedene Gefechtsmodi.

Zufallsgefechte

Freigeschaltet mit: Account Level 3
Maximale Anzahl an Spielern: 24 (12 pro Team)

Random_battle_wows.png

Zufallsgefechte sind der beliebteste Modus in World of Warships.

Szenario

Gewertete Gefechte

Freigeschaltet mit: Account Level 14
Anzahl an Spielern: 14 (7 pro Team)

Icon_16.png

Team Gefechte

Freigeschaltet mit: Account Level 15
Anzalh an Spielerns: 14 (7 pro Team)

Icon_19.png

Trainingsraum

Anzahl an Spielern: unterschiedlich (maximal 12 Spieler pro Team)

Icon_2.png

Gefechtsmodi

Es gibt 4 Spielmodi in World of Warships: Standart, Domination, Epizentrum, and Bastion.

Anmerkung: Bastion ist derzeit deaktiviert!

How to Win

Point Accumulation

All modes of battle are scored using a points system. Each team starts with a fixed amount of points and are awarded points for various events, depending on game mode. Battles are on a 20 minute timer, with four possible victory conditions:

  1. Destroy all enemy ships.
  2. Reduce enemy team's score to 0 points.
  3. Score 1000 points before time expires.
  4. Have more points than the enemy team when time expires.

If time expires and both teams have an equal number of points, the game is considered a Draw. This is treated as a loss for both teams for the purposes of experience and credit gains.

Domination

The Domination Mode configuration of Solomon Islands.

Domination Mode games feature a map populated by two, three, or four control areas. Two-area Domination games are exclusive to Team and Ranked Battles; three and four-area Domination games are the most common game mode in Random Battles. In three-area Domination games, the game begins with no capture points taken. In four-area Domination games, four maps — Estuary, Two Brothers, Ring and Haven — begin the game with the closest control point to each spawn area already under a team's control.

There are 2-4 control areas, displayed as white diamonds with the letters A-D on them. Teams earn control of a capture point by having ships within the designated control area; additional ships within the boundary will increase the speed of capture: one ship within a boundary will capture an area in 60 seconds; two or more will capture an area in 40 seconds. Capture progress is halted at its present level in the capture area if ships from both teams are present. Once captured, each capture area gives points to the team that owns it on a regular interval per the table below, unless an enemy ship is in that capture area.

Capture In Progress

Sailing into an enemy's control area will immediately prevent them from accruing points from it, as well as beginning the capture of it (unless they also occupy it). Taking damage will cause a ship to lose half of the capture points it has accrued. If an enemy ship enters a control area that is controlled by the enemy, the capture indicator will rotate to indicate that the point is being contested. Capture progress for the enemy team is indicated by the point marker border changing from green to red.

In addition, teams score points for killing enemy ships — and have points deducted for the death of friendly ships — per the below table.

Bastion

The Bastion Mode configuration of The Atlantic.

CURRENTLY DISABLED. See Update 0.6.1 patch notes for more information.

Bastion is a variant of Domination Mode that is available on the maps The Atlantic, North, and Hotspot.

There are 3 or 4 control areas, displayed as white diamonds with the numbers 1-4 on them. In addition, teams score points for killing enemy ships — and have points deducted for the death of friendly ships — per the below table. Scoring in Bastion Mode is identical to Domination Mode with the addition of points for suppressing enemy Forts and Surveillance Stations, and corresponding penalties for having friendly Forts and Surveillance Stations suppressed by the enemy.

This ribbon is awarded for suppressing an enemy Fort.

Each capture area provides control of a corresponding Fort and Surveillance Station. The Fort is equipped with guns that will fire on enemy ships; the Surveillance Station acts as a shore-based spotter and detects all ships within its spotting radius as normal, taking into account the detection radius of enemy ships. The Fort and Surveillance Station can be damaged and eventually suppressed by main battery guns, secondary battery guns, and dive bombers; these shore installations do not have armor and cannot catch fire, so hits against them simply do maximum shell or bomb damage. When reduced to zero hit points, they are considered suppressed and their effects cease to function while they slowly regenerate their health back to full. Once back to full health, they become active again until suppressed once more. Dealing damage to Forts and Surveillance Stations causes capture areas to be contested, the same as if an enemy ship were present in the capture area.

Forts

Bastion_Fort.png
Forts automatically attack whichever enemy ship is closest to them; the type of shell fired is chosen randomly. They are equipped with 406 mm artillery guns and 80 mm anti-aircraft guns. Forts have limited field of view and perform best when acting in concert with a Surveillance Station. Additionally, they have certain sectors of fire and dead zones where they cannot shoot enemy ships.

Fort characteristics:

  • Hit points: 300,000
  • Firing range (main guns): 15km
  • Loading time (main guns): 4 seconds
  • Firing range (AA guns): 5km
  • Average damage per second of AA guns: 77
  • Detection Radius: 10km
  • Spotting Radius: 5km (individual), 15km (with active Surveillance Station)
  • Full regeneration: 150 seconds

Surveillance Stations

Bastion_Surveillance.png
Surveillance Stations are able to spot enemy ships and aircraft, but not torpedoes. Targeting enemy Surveillance Stations is tricky; try locking on but not zooming in to fire, and aim higher than may seem necessary.

Surveillance Station characteristics:

  • Hit points: 9,000
  • Detection Radius: 15 km
  • Spotting radius: 15 km
  • Full regeneration: 180 seconds

Standard

The Standard Mode configuration of Solomon Islands.

In a Standard Mode battle, each team has a single control area that starts the game under their control. Each team starts with 300 points. There are 2 control areas, displayed as colored squaree with the letters A and B on them. Each team will constantly accrue points at the rate of two (2) points every six (6) seconds for maintaining control of their control area. In addition, each team scores points for killing enemy ships — and have points deducted for the death of friendly ships — per the below table.

Ship Class Random_battle_wows.pngRandom Battle
Reward for Killing Penalty for Death
WowsshipclassDestroyerDefault.png Destroyers +30 points -45 points
WowsshipclassCruiserDefault.png Cruisers +35 points -50 points
WowsshipclassBattleshipDefault.png Battleships +40 points -60 points
WowsshipclassAirCarrierDefault.png Aircraft Carriers +45 points -65 points

Sailing into the enemy's control area will immediately prevent them from accruing points from it, as well as beginning the capture of it (unless they also occupy it). Taking damage will cause a ship to lose half of the capture points it has accrued. If an enemy ship enters your control area, the capture indicator will rotate to indicate that the point is being contested. Capture progress for the enemy team is indicated by the point marker border changing from green to red. One ship will fully capture the enemy base in 180 seconds; two or more will do so in 120 seconds.

Epicenter

The Epicenter Mode configuration of Big Race.

Epicenter is the newest Battle Mode in World of Warships. Each team starts with 300 points. A large zone of concentric capture areas is located on the map; each of the "rings" is treated as separate capture area for scoring purposes, but ships can capture multiple areas at once. As ships move from the outer areas into the center, they begin to accrue capture points for the outer "rings" as well as the area they are in.

  • Ships in the outermost ring earn capture points for it only.
  • Ships in the middle ring earn capture points for it AND the outermost ring.
  • Ships in the innermost ring earn capture points for all three rings simultaneously.

Controlling one capture area or "ring" accrues points at the rate of three (3) points every four (4) seconds. In addition, each team scores points for killing enemy ships — and have points deducted for the death of friendly ships — per the below table.

Ship Class Random_battle_wows.pngRandom Battle

WowsshipclassCruiserDefault.png Cruisers +35 points -50 points
WowsshipclassBattleshipDefault.png Battleships +40 points -60 points
WowsshipclassAirCarrierDefault.png Aircraft Carriers +45 points -65 points

Sailing into an enemy's "ring" will immediately prevent them from accruing points from it, as well as beginning the capture of it (unless they also occupy it). Taking damage will cause a ship to lose half of the capture points it has accrued. Capture progress for the enemy team is indicated by the point marker border changing from green to red.
