Player Opinion

Pros and Cons

  • Trollish armor when played hull down
  • Excellent Mobility

Cons:

  • Poor gun depression of 4 degrees
  • Engine and ammo rack often sustain damage

Performance

This is the first of the hull down Russian tank destroyers towards the Obj. 263. This tank as was noted earlier plays best hull down however there is an issue being that this tank has very poor gun depression of only 4 degrees but excellent gun elevation so this tank plays hull down from areas where only the super structure (top part with the cannon) is showing and the rest is hidden. This can be played in two ways in small areas known as foxholes or through using small elevated areas to protect the hull. This tank has research that can carry over to the tier 9 tank destroyer being the Top Gun so it is very easy to move forward through this line to making stock grinds easy.
