A battleship design developed in France in response to construction of the German "H"-class battleships. The ship was a development of the Richelieu class, but in contrast to her predecessor, she had more powerful artillery that was arranged according to a more reasonable scheme. One of the design versions received twelve 380 mm guns that were placed in three main turrets.

Bourgogne was released as a Bureau project reward on October 3rd, 2022.

Pros:

  • Good set of consumables, including Main Battery Reload BoosterLegends_MBRB.png
  • Fast with a 32 knots base speed
  • Among the highest torpedo damage reductions in the game
  • Main battery guns have good accuracy, fast reload time and decent range
  • Good AA armament



Cons:

  • Low HP pool
  • Small caliber main guns for its tier
  • Thin external armor; Bourgogne is very susceptible to HE shells and overmatch
  • Very few secondary battery guns to enhance her close quarter combats effectiveness
