Champagne — French Premium Tier VII Battleship.

A battleship design close to that of the Gascogne class. Her triple turrets and the 406 mm guns mounted in them were developed in France in the second half of the 1930s.

Champagne was first released as the final reward of the A Tall Glass of Victory campaign, which took place from May 17th to June 21st, 2021. The ship is now available in the store for 750 000 Global XP.

Pros:

  • Great set of consumables
  • Very fast with a base speed of 34 knots
  • Main batteries have a quick turret traverse, fast reload time, high Sigma value, fast shell velocity and great fire-setting chances
  • Rapid-firing secondary batteries with high fire-setting chances



Cons:

  • Low HP pool
  • Poor armor; turtleback is not the most effective and external armor is thin, meaning the ship is vulnerable to HE shells
  • Mediocre main turret configuration
  • Below average AA performance
