A modernized version of the MK-6 cruiser project with the gun mounts from the 1940s replaced with more contemporary ones—the main battery is represented by BL-109 guns instead of MK-18, and the AA mounts are represented by ZIF-31 and 4M-120 mounts instead of 66-K and 70-K, respectively. The project reflects a potential upgrade of the cruiser, which might have been carried out in the 1950s.

Dalian was released as the final reward of the Dragon's Voyage campaign, which took place from April 7th to May 19th, 2025.

Pros:

• Decent AA armament
• Good handling
• Numerous torpedoes with good characteristics
• Great concealment
• Main battery guns have a good rate of fire and good HE penetration for their caliber

Cons:

• Abysmal survivability; poor armor and healing capabilities as well as a very low HP pool for its tier
• Mediocre main battery range
• Lacks utility; no access to consumables such as Sonarand Surveillance Radar
