Elbing was first released as an Auction prize between August 18th and August 29th, 2022. The ship is now available in the store for 1 400 000 Global XP.

Destroyer - Elbing

Pros:

• Largest gun caliber among Tier VIII destroyers, tied with Felix Schultz
• AP shells have amazing penetration and improved penetration angles
• As with other German destroyers, Elbing's HE shells have improved penetration
• Most accurate destroyer guns in the game
• Excellent ballistics - high shell velocity and flat arcs
• Good torpedo range, damage, and reload time
• Large 25mm midsection armor provides protection against most destroyer-caliber HE shells
• Largest HP pool in the game for its class

Cons:

• The biggest destroyer in the game, as large as a cruiser
• Abysmal HE damage output
• Poor rate of fire for a destroyer
• Huge turning circle radius and slow rudder shift, Elbing handles more like a light cruiser
• Extremely slow torpedoes
• Unsuited for contesting capture points
