• Good top speed at 30 knots
• Great main battery firing range
• Secondary guns have a good range, improved accuracy and high HE penetration

Cons:

• A large superstructure and freeboard make the ship easy to damage when showing broadside
• Rather uneffective turtleback armor
• Poor torpedo damage reduction
• Mediocre maneuverability
