Player Opinion

Cruiser - Fiji

Pros:

  • Accurate rapid firing guns that quickly shred destroyers and cruisers and trolls battleships.
  • Improved AP shells that don't overpen or bounce as often as other cruisers.
  • Good set of consumables.
  • Good concealment.
  • Excellent handling characteristics; quick rudder shift and tight turning circle.
  • Very good belt armor for her tier.



Cons:

  • Long citadel that is easy to hit.
  • No access to HE shells to start fires or break modules on enemy ships.
  • Fairly ineffective against angled enemy battleships.
  • Very few torpedoes.
  • Secondaries and AA are a downgrade of Leander in exchange for more guns in a salvo.
  • Though her maximum range is respectable, her shell velocity drops off sharply and makes landing hits difficult past medium range.
  • Very thin bow/stern armor.
