Gdańsk
Ship Overview
Gdańsk — Pan‑European
Legendary Tier Destroyer.
Poland aimed for naval superiority through quality rather than quantity, designing large destroyers to compete with light cruisers. In the late 1930s, several projects were considered in Gdynia, including the Mogador-class destroyers, which were comparable to ligh cruisers in some aspects and superior in others, such as speed. If built in France, these destroyers would have been upgraded with Soviet air defense systems, radars, and torpedoes in the 1950s and 1960s.
Gdańsk was released as a Bureau project reward on November 18th, 2024.
