Pros:
- Citadel is well protected and sits under the waterline, which makes it hard to hit
- Fast reloading guns with good ballistics
- Good ship speed at 30.5 knots
- Large amount of torpedoes with a quick reload, fast speed and wide firing arcs
- Good AA defenses
- Good secondary batteries
- Access to the Sonarconsumable
Cons:
- HP pool is on the smaller end of Tier VIII battleships
- Large superstructure and poor deck armor
- Poor torpedo belt protection
- Small caliber main battery guns with low shell damage and penetration
- Torpedoes have low damage and flooding chance
