Ohio — American Legendary Tier Battleship.

When designing the Montana-class battleships, engineers initially considered adding 18-inc (457 mm) guns to increase firepower. Ohio was developed based on concerns by the General Board that the firepower of the new ships needed to match or surpass that of their foreign opponents.

Player Opinion

Pros:

• Well-armored midsection; Ohio is quite durable when properly angled
• Quick main battery turret traverse
• Good main battery rate of fire
• Good main battery accuracy when equipped with the Artillery Plotting Room module
• Excellent secondary armament accuracy, range, rate of fire and fire chance
• Powerful AA defenses, like most other USN battleships
• Improved Repair Partyconsumable with a standard cooldown of only 40 seconds

Cons:

• Fairly short main battery range
• Slower than Montana, and barely faster Yamato
• Enormous citadel that slightly rises above the waterline and has a very thin roof. Flashing Ohio's broadside is quite dangerous
• An extremely long ship, with a very large turning circle radius
• Poor concealment
