Ruggiero di Lauria — Italian Legendary Tier Battleship.

A fast battlecruiser armed with eight 18-inch (457 mm) guns. The project is based on ideas introduced in 1921 by Italian naval engineer Ferdinando Cassone. In addition to its remarkable armament and displacement, both quite advanced for that era, the project stood out for its innovative anti-torpedo defense system and two-tiered power plant.

Ruggiero di Lauria was temporarily purchasable in the store for Cybercents, an event currency related to the Glimpse Into the Future update, which took place from December 16th, 2024 to January 27th, 2025.

Player Opinion


Pros:

  • Good torpedo damage reduction
  • High top speed 35 knots
  • Good AA DPS
  • Eight accurate, hard-hitting 457 mm main guns equipped with SAP shells
  • Main turrets rotate quickly and have a decent reload time



Cons:

  • AA armament is short-ranged
  • Very few secondary guns, and although equipped with SAP shells, have a very poor reload time
  • Large turning circle radius
  • Poor citadel protection; very vulnerable and can be reached from multiple angles due to its weird shape
