Player Opinion

Pros:

• Very fast main battery traverse speed and reload time
• Good main battery firing angles; both turrets can turn 360 degrees
• Improved AP shells with better penetration angles, short fuse timers, and low arming threshold
• Reasonably armored for a British light cruiser; covered in 25mm plating
• Excellent maneuverability
• Good concealment with all the relevant upgrades and commander skills
• Great set of consumables

Cons:

• Small HP pool for her tier
• Low top speed
• Only four main guns - even with the fast reload, the damage output per salvo is very low
• Low shell velocity and high shell arcs make hitting targets at range difficult
• Like most other British light cruisers, Tiger '59 does not carry HE shells
• Lacks both torpedoes and secondary armaments
• Exposed and poorly protected citadel
