Tokachi — Japanese Premium Tier VI Cruiser.

In the 1930s, the Furutaka-class cruisers were rebuilt following the pattern of the Aoba class, receiving three twin-gun turrets, similar to a revised scout cruiser project. Tokachi represents an alternative version of that project, designed as an anti-aircraft defense ship featuring 5-inch (127 mm) dual-purpose guns in twin-gun mounts.
