Weymouth — British Tech Tree Tier I Cruiser.

This medium-sized cruiser had weak armor protection, but boasted powerful artillery and quite a high speed. She was conceived as a "trade protection" cruiser and was designated for countering lightly-armed enemy ships of the same type.

Player Opinion


Pros:

  • Only Tier I ship equipped with AP shells, making her able to overmatch and citadel the other Tier I cruisers
  • Decent top speed
  • Long firing range for its tier



Cons:

  • The lack of HE shells can make her struggle against well-angled targets
  • Poor AA defenses; typical of Tier I cruisers, although it does not really matter at its tier as it cannot face any aircraft carrier
