Specifically, the mismatch in crew values caused by commander's 10% crew skill bonus. Outside of a crew of 1 commander only, 100% crew is a fiction. The client values, given for 100% crew, will normally be taken into battle with 110% crew skill members aside from specific functions, causing their actual performance to deviate from the expected client value. These differences are taken into account in tooltip boxes.

Player Opinion

Pros and Cons

Pros:

  • good armor can block some autocannons when angled, most notably the T7 combat cars gun
  • decently maneuverable
  • good aim time and decent accuracy
  • great gun depression
  • easy stock grind

Cons:

  • somewhat tall
  • takes a bit to speed up with mediocre hp/tn
  • slow top speed

Performance

This light tank is very fun to play when used wisely. Push with your teammates, and don't get ahead. Tank destroyers will pick this tank off quickly. Penetration is decent, and can penetrate most tier threes in the front. Distraction and sniping is the name of the game.

Early Research

  • Research the gun or turret first.
  • Get the engine.
  • Go from there.

Historical Info

A Czechoslovak design, this light tank was formally designated Lehký tank vzor 35 (Light Tank Model 35), but was commonly referred to as the LT vz. 35 or LT-35. Four hundred and thirty-four were built; of these, the Germans seized two hundred and forty-four when they occupied Bohemia-Moravia in March 1939 and the Slovaks acquired fifty-two when they declared independence from Czechoslovakia at the same time. Others were exported to Bulgaria and Romania. In German service, it saw combat during the early years of World War II, notably the Invasion of Poland, the Battle of France and the invasion of the Soviet Union before being retired or sold off in 1942. It was used for the remainder of the war by other countries and as a training tank in Bulgaria into the 1950s.

In German service, it was called the Panzerkampfwagen 35(t), commonly shortened to Panzer 35(t) or abbreviated as Pz.Kpfw. 35(t). The letter (t) stood for tschechisch (German: "Czech").
