The TNH T Vz. 51 is a Czechoslovakian tier 9 heavy tank.
In the early 1950s, the ČKD company developed a project of a heavy tank for the Czechoslovakian Army based on concepts of the Soviet and German tank-building schools combined with its own ideas. The project was discontinued due to the unification of armament of Warsaw Pact countries. No prototypes were ever built.
The TNH T Vz. 51 leads to the Vz. 55.

Player Opinion
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Stock turret can be very difficult to penetrate especially when angled, and even more so once upgraded
- 2-shot autoloader allows for 880hp of burst damage
- Decent acceleration even with stock engine
- With the relevant equipment and researchable guns/turret, it can be rather accurate (around 0.3 for the vz. 44-51)
Cons:
- Stock gun can be very frustrating when facing equal or higher tier tanks
- When equipped with the 2-shot autoloader, the reload time leaves you vulnerable
- Upgrading of tracks is a must
- Without the upgraded turret, gun dispersion can be frustrating
- Upgraded turret can only be obtained after grinding through 2 of the researchable guns
Performance
This tank is a considerable upgrade from the TNH 105/1000, especially the turret armour. The weakspots present can be mitigated by wiggling and movement, though Tier 10 premium shells can still penetrate you frontally given half a chance.
Sidescraping can be a viable tactic against lower enemies, though one must take care as the corners of the upper glacis can be an opportunity for savvy (and lucky) enemies to deal damage. Ideally, embracing the hull-down meta is the way to go in this tank. When it comes to ridge line fights, the 7 degrees of gun depression leaves some room to be desired, but it is still very much workable.
In the event that you are running the 2-shot autoloader, getting flanked can be considered a death sentence. This is because despite the fact that you have a double tap potential of 880, the interclip reload leaves you vulnerable for a considerable length of time, so be sure to keep an eye out for flanking enemies and always try to stay with other teammates.
As long as you keep your hull hidden (or at the very least angled while hiding your lower glacis), fighting in the front is entirely possible so long as you are not alone.
Early Research
The most crucial component to research are the 122mm guns, for the stock gun can be a very frustrating experience. Ideally the best path would be to focus on the guns (for penetration & damage) and turret (for gun performance & survivability) for research, as well as the tracks just to ensure that your mobility/traverse does not suffer too much.
Ignoring the upgraded engine is also viable as the tank performs alright with the stock engine, but it does not hurt to upgrade said engine for that added engine power.
Once you have obtained both the cyclic and autoloading 122mm guns, you can choose which style you are more comfortable with, though the 2-shot autoloader does provide a more satisfying punch when dealing with enemies.
