The ISU-152K is a Soviet tier 8 premium tank destroyer.
The ISU-152K tank destroyer (whose prototype was designated the Object 241K) was an upgraded version of the ISU-152 tank destroyer developed from the IS tank during World War II. It was modernized at the Leningrad Kirov Plant between 1955 and 1958. After the second stage of modernization, the ISU-152K's operational range was increased by 1.65 times due to larger internal fuel tanks compared to the ISU-152M. Many of the parts and components of the new ISU-152K were unified with the T-10, T-54, and PT-76.

Player Opinion
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Joint highest alpha damage for a Tier 8 tank, only SPGs have more (with HE)
- Amazing penetration, the tank is competitive against most opponents
- Better horizontal gun traverse and shell velocity compared to ISU-152
- Good camouflage, can reliably use soft cover (bushes, fallen trees)
- Very good at making credits thanks to its massive alpha damage and fairly affordable premium ammo
Cons:
- Very poor aim time and accuracy
- Very poor armor
- Frequent module damage and crew injury
- Very small ammo capacity (20 rounds)
- Overall inferior to ISU-152
Performance
This tank is what ISU-152 used to be when it had the fearsome 152mm BL-10 gun (which it lost at some point). Compared to its techtree ancestor, ISU-152K has slightly better gun traverse (horizontal only) as well as better shell velocity but, most importantly, penetration - the gun on this tank can be a real threat against almost anything within range, and the great damage per shot (750 average alpha) is one of the best for a Tier 8 tank, beaten only by HE shells fired by the larger SPGs at the tier. As a very welcome bonus, this tank is a very good credit earner.
In terms of playstyle, ISU-152K plays exactly like its techtree counterpart, and can be a fearsome foe when allowed to play the sniper while hidden by bushes (the thicker the better of course, as the camo penalty for shooting is huge). Daring and skilled players can also opt to play aggressively and act as support closer to the frontlines, but that's a very risky strategy due to ISU-152K being very poorly armored and lacking mobility.
