I've played the WZ-132 a whole lot.
I have 1100 battles in the tank with a 63% WR.
To be honest, after all the nerfs, I haven't played it much, despite it being my favorite tank and all. It's seen better days, but after the artillery nerf, camouflage reword, and the just recent 85mm HEAT pen nerf, I'm contemplating if it's even worth entering a battle in it anymore.
It used to be really fun to drive and I'd get 2-4k spotting damage on average. Now it's hard to get even 2k regularly on everything except scouting specific maps, and I've been forced to make the tank play like a weak medium to make up for the lack of spotting and arty kills, not to mention worse camo.

Before 8.6 (and still, to some extent) I play the WZ-132 like a dedicated active scout. I conserve my HP as much as possible while trying to find open spotting locations. I prefer active scouting over passive scouting, but will adapt as the game changes.

On maps where I'm forced to act in close combat, I attack only distracted and/or low health enemies that I can shoot and get away without getting hit myself.
Hunting arty is rarely a primary task anymore because of how uncommon they are and their importance in battle became more negligible after the nerfs.

?	The WZ-132 has, in fact, suffered great nerfs, and it is a lot worse than it used to be. I barely play it anymore because high tier medium tanks are more rewarding to play and much less situational depending on the map.
?	~~Because of the camo rework in 8.8, the WZ-132 went from 19.35% base camo to 17.1% base camo, plus external camouflage being reworked so it gives a flat bonus instead of multiplying the base value.~~

?	Compared to the T71 and AMX 13 75/90, sure, the WZ-131/132 play a lot more like medium tanks. But they do not have anywhere near the capacity to perform like a tier 8 medium in any tier, they are simply too weak.
