 The VK 4502 (P) Ausf. B initially, will be seem more like a downgrade from a [[VK 4502 (P) Ausf. A]], but give it time and get used to its unique playing style, and you could easily find yourself playing a part in tipping the battle in your team's favor. Initially, the Ausf B. is slow and clumsy. Its rear-mounted [[Turret|turret]] makes it so you have to fully reveal yourself from cover to fire. This can be corrected by turning your tank backwards and moving back to expose only your [[Turret|turret]]. However, when upgraded, it makes up for some of its more awkward grievances with the ability to bounce a large amount of [[Ammo|shells]]. However, its frontal armor has a glaring weakness that is easy for most seasoned players to hit. You may want to keep your [[VK 4502 (P) Ausf. A]],(tier 5 tanks are preferred due to their low repair costs and high credit earnings) as well because in some cases, the learning curve can become fairly expensive and you may suffer heavy financial hits until you've grown (or groaned) with this [[Heavy Tanks|heavy]]. Don't give up. It's well worth the pain. If mastered, the Ausf B. can be a rewarding tank to play and is great preparation for the playing style of the [[Maus]].  The VK 4502 (P) Ausf. Historical Info

Two prototypes of this vehicle (one with the forward-mounted turret and the other with the rear-mounted turret) were designed by Dr. Ferdinand Porsche, but it never entered production. This tank, named the VK 4502 (P) Ausf. B in the game, is based on the prototype with the rear-mounted turret. The forward-mounted turret is represented by the VK 4502 (P) Ausf. A.
