German low tier light tanks are all purpose machines, and are generally decently armored, and mobile, with good gun selections. German medium tanks feature two distinctly different branches, the E-50M "Wehrmacht" line, and the Leopard 1 "Bundeswehr" line. "Wehrmacht" line tanks feature highly accurate guns making them excellent snipers, but are usually large and heavy making them good for ramming, however this comes at the price of mobility, limiting their flanking ability. "Bundeswehr" tanks are generally more lightly armored, but feature a focus on mobility, with the Leopard PTA and Leopard 1 being some of the fastest tanks in their tier, while featuring similar guns to their Wehrmacht brothers. Both German heavy tank branches are notoriously rectangular, earning them the nickname "fascist box tanks", and players have the option to choose between the popular E-100/Henschel line, or the Maus/Porsche line. German heavies are heavily armored, but feature similar weakspots on the lower glacis plate. German tank destroyers at most tiers feature lower alpha and better accuracy than their Soviet and American counterparts, but the tier X Jagdpanzer E-100 features the 2nd largest gun in the game. | |
