The exterior of the tank can be enhanced by going to the Garage and clicking the "Exterior" button below the vehicle that you have selected. You can change the exterior on every vehicle in the game.

Camouflage: Camouflage will change the appearance of your vehicle and will give a slight bonus in camo value. There are three types of camouflages: summer, winter and desert, which are used on maps matching the camo type. Within each type you have a choice of several options depending on the nation of the vehicle.

Emblems and Inscriptions: You can add Emblems and Inscriptions to your vehicles. These will be visible on all kinds of maps. They give you no gameplay bonuses, but do change the appearance of your vehicle.

Visibility Period: You may choose to have the Camouflage, Emblem or Inscription visible on your vehicle for 7 days, 30 days or permanently. For 7 days and 30 days you will have to pay a certain amount of credits, but if you want it permanently you will have to pay a certain amount of gold.

Types of Emblems and Inscriptions: There are four categories of Emblems to choose from:

  • Animals
Contains pictures of animals, their heads and pawprints. Also contains insects, reptiles and arachnids.
  • Military
Contains many pictures of skulls, swords, tools and stars. Similar to most Clan emblems.
  • Miscellaneous
Contains mostly cards, symbols and human heads.
  • Flags and coats of arms
Contains many European coats of arms and a wide range of national flags.

There is only one category of Inscriptions.

  • Historical
Contains many inscriptions found on tanks from historical sources. The inscriptions are in the national language of the vehicle, so remember you may not be able to understand all inscriptions!

Cost: The cost of 7 day, 30 day, or permanent Camouflage, Emblems or Inscriptions is dependent on vehicle tier.

Placement: Emblems and Inscriptions are placed on predetermined spots on the tank, most tanks can hold up to 2 Emblems and 2 Inscriptions simultaneously. However, some smaller tanks can hold only 2 Emblems and 1 Inscription, and the tiniest tanks can hold only 1 Emblem and 1 Inscription. Emblems will replace that vehicle's national symbol that appears as 'standard' the vehicle.
