?"A stock-hulled ''Sovetsy Soyuz''-class battleship that uses 1.8 sigma American battleship dispersion instead of 1.7 sigma Soviet battleship dispersion. Don't forget the cool anime skin." - LWM+''{{#var:ship_name}}'' is a Tier 9 collaboration ship, being in many aspects similar to her same tier counterpart ''[[Sovetsky Soyuz]]''.
 +
+Unlike ''Sovetsky Soyuz'', ''{{#var:ship_name}}'' focuses less on close range engagements and is more versatile. She uses the same dispersion formula of American battleships, which gives her worse accuracy at close range while being more consistent at longer range when compared to Soviet battleship dispersion. At 14km and beyond, ''{{#var:ship_name}}'' has a smaller dispersion. In comparison to ''Sovetsky Soyuz'' her turret traverse is drastically reduced, from 6°/s to 4°/s.
 +
+Like ''Sovetsky Soyuz'', ''{{#var:ship_name}}'' has distributed armor allowing her to absorb large volumes of fire when properly angled. All turrets having 300° of movement it is not difficult to maintain an advantageous angle against any single opponent. However, ''{{#var:ship_name}}'' only has the stock hp value of her counterpart, leaving her in the long run less survivable.
 +
+The maneuverability of ''{{#var:ship_name}}'', while marginally better than that of ''Sovetsky Soyuz'', still lags behind and it is thus recommended to be wary of the surroundings to prevent torpedo hits or scenarios where one has to turn away under fire. The anti-air armament is worse than that of the Tech Tree counterpart, making ''{{#var:ship_name}}'' very vulnerable against any carrier that wishes to strike her.
 +
+In terms of gameplay ''{{#var:ship_name}}'' plays similarly to ''Sovetsky Soyuz'', although to compensate for her weaknesses while capitalizing on her strengths it is recommended to maintain a little more distance than with the Tech Tree battleship. Keeping a constant angle against other battleships and picking off broadside targets and cruisers allow ''{{#var:ship_name}}'' to have her impact on the match.

Player Opinion

Performance

' is a Tier 9 collaboration ship, being in many aspects similar to her same tier counterpart Sovetsky Soyuz.

Unlike Sovetsky Soyuz, ' focuses less on close range engagements and is more versatile. She uses the same dispersion formula of American battleships, which gives her worse accuracy at close range while being more consistent at longer range when compared to Soviet battleship dispersion. At 14km and beyond, ' has a smaller dispersion. In comparison to Sovetsky Soyuz her turret traverse is drastically reduced, from 6°/s to 4°/s.

Like Sovetsky Soyuz, ' has distributed armor allowing her to absorb large volumes of fire when properly angled. All turrets having 300° of movement it is not difficult to maintain an advantageous angle against any single opponent. However, ' only has the stock hp value of her counterpart, leaving her in the long run less survivable.

The maneuverability of ', while marginally better than that of Sovetsky Soyuz, still lags behind and it is thus recommended to be wary of the surroundings to prevent torpedo hits or scenarios where one has to turn away under fire. The anti-air armament is worse than that of the Tech Tree counterpart, making ' very vulnerable against any carrier that wishes to strike her.

In terms of gameplay ' plays similarly to Sovetsky Soyuz, although to compensate for her weaknesses while capitalizing on her strengths it is recommended to maintain a little more distance than with the Tech Tree battleship. Keeping a constant angle against other battleships and picking off broadside targets and cruisers allow ' to have her impact on the match.

Pros:

  • Armored upper hull makes ' more resilient against HE shells and overmatch from ships like Yamato
  • External and internal bow armor make ' near immune from citadels through the bow by ships with 32mm overmatch
  • Good ballistics, penetration and accuracy of the main guns
  • Improved earning power
  • Good firing angles for the main guns

Cons:

Research

As a premium ship, ' doesn't have any upgrades to research.

Optimal Configuration

Upgrades

Commander Skills

With a limited number of damage control team uses, fire control and prevention becomes important.

Consumables

' equips the following consumables:

Camouflage

As a premium Azur Lane ship, ' comes with a permanent Azur Lane camouflage that lowers her detection radius, reduces the accuracy of incoming shells, reduces her repair costs, and increases the amount of experience she earns.
