'''Haruna''', a Fog battleship whose avatar takes the form of a teenage girl wearing a heavy coat that covers all of her body up to the nose, originally, along with Kirishima, attacked Yokosuka to destroy I-401 and Blue Steel. After that effort failed and resulted in the destruction of her hull, she along with Kirishima befriends a girl named Makie and agrees to protect her after finding out the truth behind her, even if this means going against the Fog. Both Haruna and Kirishima not only betray the Fog but also join the Blue Steel fleet to serve their purpose. In the Cadenza film, Hyuga restores her vessel and comes to assist I-401 in their battle with the Student Council Fleet, engaging Haguro to allow I-401 to escape and confront Musashi. | '''Haruna''', a Fog battleship whose avatar takes the form of a teenage girl wearing a heavy coat that covers all of her body up to the nose, originally, along with Kirishima, attacked Yokosuka to destroy I-401 and Blue Steel. + | ==== Miscellaneous ====
+ | The model of Kongō in the game has superstructure based on the one given to Hiei for her modernization, which differs significantly from her sisters. This superstructure served as the prototype of the bridges that were eventually fitted onto Yamato and Musashi. The game model of Haruna is a re-skin of the regular Kongō, which is based on Hiei, and therefore retains this inaccuracy. Also, while the in game models of the ARP ships depict them with planes textured in the style of their mother ship, the ships of the Fleet of Fog, even those which are modeled after ships that carried and launched aircraft, do not carry planes.

ARP Haruna — Japanese special premium Tier V battleship.
A Fleet of Fog battleship modeled after the Imperial Japanese Navy's 3rd Kongō-class battleship, Haruna. First seen engaging I-401 in combat alongside Kirishima, she was defeated by the superior tactics of Gunzo Chihaya, commander of I-401. Her Mental Model—Haruna—always wears a large overcoat and has a keen interest in the human language, "collecting" word samples as she hears them. This warship has been modeled after Haruna as she appears in "ARPEGGIO OF BLUE STEEL -ARS NOVA-."

Player Opinion
Performance
As she performs exactly like standard Kongo, see the article on Kongo for her performance appraisal.
Pros:
- All the pros of the standard Kongo
- Does not take up port slots
- Visible to other players who have enabled Yokosuka port
- Comes with a number of free Captain's Skills points (depending on event)
- Skills can be customized for her, as captain is specific to this ship
- Special unique announcer (voiced by her voice actor from the Ars Nova series!)
Cons:
- All the cons of the standard Kongo
- Cannot mount functional camouflage
- Captain cannot be transferred to other ships
- Voice notifications are in Japanese
- Does not come with the overwhelming firepower, blistering speed, diving ability, corrosive warheads, supergravity cannon, and impenetrable Klein field of Haruna in Ars Nova: in other words, a standard Kongo :)
