Andrea Doria — Italian Tier VI battleship.
The second series of Italian battleships was based on the improved Conte di Cavour design. Andrea Doria, which was laid down in 1913, participated in the Fiume Question and the Corfu incident in the 1920s. In the 1930s and 1940s, the ship's propulsion unit and armament were upgraded. During World War II, she escorted convoys to Libya and participated in the Battle of Sirte.

Player Opinion
Pros:
- Has access to Italian SAP.
- Above average AA defenses.
- Fastest turret traverse of any tier VI battleship.
- Top speed of 27 knots, bested by Izmail and Normandie.
- Good armor; plating above 26mm allows for a easier time bouncing shots.
- Decent concealment.
- Improved reload time for main guns, an improvement over Conte di Cavour.
Cons:
- Does not carry HE shells that other non-Italian battleships have.
- Lowest healthpool for a tier VI battleship.
- Loses 3 guns that Conte di Cavour had (although caliber increases).
- Not the best gun angles.
- Guns are not consistent in regards to landing salvos.
