+ | * 1937 reconstruction is missing. See [[Giulio Cesare]] for the modernized version.
+ | * High explosive ammunition is missing. The SAP shell is a fabrication by Wargaming.
+ | * ''Conte di Cavour'' was equipped with only two 40 mm/39 Vickers-Terni 1917 AA guns, located on the forecastle deck. Hull (A) has a whopping eight 40 mm/39 Vickers-Terni 1917 AA guns.
+ | * The six 76 mm/40 Ansaldo 1917 AA guns were actually located abreast the aft funnel. In World of Warships, however, they are placed atop the superfiring and amidships turrets.
+ | * All 13 turret-mounted 76.2 mm/50 secondary guns (three on the triple-gun turrets and two on the twin-gun turrets) are missing. These were only removed after her reconstruction.
+ | * ''Conte di Cavour'' did not receive any 37 mm/54 Breda guns before her reconstruction. Its inclusion on the pre-refit hull and in single mounts (instead of the historical twin mounts) is another fabrication by Wargaming.

Conte di Cavour — Italian Tier V battleship.
Battleships of the Conte di Cavour class were armed with 13 main battery guns placed in twin- and triple-gun turrets. The lead ship of the series participated in the capture of Corfu in 1923. Later, she was modernized and received a new propulsion unit as well as a new bow section grafted over the existing bow. During World War II, she took part in the battle of Punta Stilo. In 1940, during a British air raid on Taranto, she received a torpedo hit and sank.

Player Opinion
Performance
Refer to the in-game Port screens for more useful data.
Pros:
- Second largest main battery broadside in tier/class with thirteen (13) guns, just behind Agincourt
- SAP shells are excellent against lightly armored targets
- Thick hull and deck armor, Cavour is very tough when properly angled
- Good firing angles, can unmask all guns without showing too much broadside
- Good turn radius and rudder shift for a battleship
- Excellent concealment
- Built-in -30% shell swap time
Cons:
- Second smallest health pool among Tier 5 battleships
- Slow main battery traverse speed
- Longer than average main battery reload speed
- Poor accuracy
- Main guns do not have access to HE shells
- Weak AA defenses.
Optimal Configuration
Upgrades
The recommended upgrades for Conte di Cavour are as follows:
- Slot 1: This slot is most commonly filled with Main Armaments Modification 1 , though Auxiliary Armaments Modification 1 is a popular pick for captains who go for a full secondary build with other upgrades and commander skills.
- Slot 2: There's really only one choice here for battleships - Damage Control System Modification 1 . This will reduce chances of fire and flood.
- Slot 3: Aiming Systems Modification 1
