Pros:

  • Has access to Italian SAP.
  • Has access to Exhaust Smoke Generator (Generates a smoke screen that allows the ship to remain undetected at full speed.) that allows the ship to remain undetected at full speed.
  • Large broadside of 16 guns.
  • Shells have fast flight times, making it easy to lead.
  • Good side armor.
  • Good turret angles; combined with good side armor allows for bouncing enemy shells while keeping all guns on a target.
  • Rear guns can traverse a full 360 degrees.
  • Decently fast at 29.6 knots.

Cons:

  • Does not carry HE shells that other non-Italian battleships have.
  • Massive ship with poor concealment, comparable to Montana.
  • Long cool down time for Exhaust Smoke Generator (Generates a smoke screen that allows the ship to remain undetected at full speed.).
  • Same gun caliber as Bourgogne, meaning her AP will suffer against bow in targets, especially cruisers with 27mm plating.
  • Below average AA defenses.
  • Gun reload of 38s, putting her only 2s ahead of Vermont.
  • Firing range is the shortest for any tier X battleship, at 18.91km stock, although she has access to Spotting Aircraft (While active, a spotter plane circles the ship enhancing main battery firing range.) to compensate.
  • Rudder, while average for tier X battleships, is still long.
  • Large turning circle, only 10m larger than Montana.
  • Second lowest healthpool, having only 7,000 more HP than Conqueror.
