Daring — British Tier X destroyer.

The Daring class ships were the last and the largest British destroyers carrying torpedo tubes and artillery guns. Their main battery comprised of 114 mm guns mounted in enhanced dual-purpose turrets.

  • No Defensive AA Fire (While active, the damage per second of large caliber anti-aircraft guns is increased.) to increase her AA effectiveness.
  • Concealment is worse than her predecessor, Jutland.

Optimal Configuration

Upgrades

As a hybrid destroyer reliant on her concealment, Concealment System Modification 1 (Reduces the detectability range of the ship and aircraft carrier's squadrons: -10% to detectability radius. / +5% to the dispersion of enemy shells fired at your ship.) is a vital upgrade which helps to reduce her detection. To further supplement her role, Main Armaments Modification 1 (-20% to the risk of main battery becoming incapacitated. / +50% to main battery survivability. / -20% to main battery repair time. / -20% to the risk of torpedo tubes becoming incapacitated. / +50% to torpedo tubes survivability. / -20% to torpedo tubes repair time.) will help prevent her torpedoes and weapons being knocked out. Since 0.9.1, Engine Room Protection (Reduces the risk of incapacitation, and accelerates repairs of the engine and steering gears.: -20% to the risk of incapacitation. / -20% to repair time.) replace Propulsion Modification 1 (OBSOLETE Use Engine Room Protection) and Steering Gears Modification 1 (OBSOLETE Use Engine Room Protection) and reduce the chance of damaged motor and steer.
