De Zeven Provinciën — Dutch special premium Tier VIII cruiser.
The upgraded postwar project for cruiser De Zeven Provinciën. The cruiser started to look like a modern ship—her superstructures had been enlarged; torpedo launchers and on-board hydroplanes removed; 57 mm anti-aircraft artillery mounted; and the number of main guns, which occupied four twin-gun mounts, restored to the value specified in the initial project. De Zeven Provinciën entered service in 1953. Between 1962 and 1964, Terrier missile launchers were installed on board the ship in place of her rear turrets, thus making her a missile cruiser. The ship was sold to Peru in 1975, where she served until 1999.

Player Opinion
Pros:
- Good main battery rate of fire and fire chance
- Decent ballistics, shell velocity and shell arcs
- All main turrets can turn a full 360 degrees
- Very powerful mid-range AA defenses
- Airstrike armament can stack up to three charges and has the shortest cooldown of all Dutch cruisers
- Improved Repair Party consumable with a short cooldown
- Access to the Engine Boost consumable
- Fairly small ship with excellent concealment
Cons:
- Small hitpoint pool and weak armor protection
- Undergunned for its tier, with only eight rifles in four twin turrets
- Worse than average AP and HE alpha damage for its gun caliber
- Main battery range is rather short
- Long range AA defenses are fairly lacking
- Lacks Defensive AA Fire or any utility consumables
- Poor rudder shift for a light cruiser
