Derzki — Soviet Tier III destroyer.
A competition was announced in 1911 to design a 34-knot destroyer for the Black Sea Fleet. The basis for the performance specifications was Novik, the most modern destroyer at that time, which was under construction in Germany. The winner was the project by the Putilov Plant. The construction of the first two destroyers began in 1912. A year later, another two ships were laid down to add to those already launched. During World War I, Derzki engaged in raiding, patrolling, and escorting operations.

Player Opinion
Performance
The Derzki or "Derpski" may feel like a downgrade from the tier 2 Storozhevoi. The gun range is slightly reduced. You do have more HP, but the ship is bigger and easier to detect and hit. It is also a bit less maneuverable. You do have however, the largest torpedo broadside at tier 3 of 10 torpedoes and still relatively fast. Use this to charge enemy battleships and fire off your broadside, the sheer mass of torpedoes combined being forced to fire them at point blank and sluggish maneuverability of the battleships the Derzki can see will guarantee at least few hits and more often than not, a kill and a devastating strike. But don't just blindly charge at the closest battleship you can see, as you will be quickly focused down by escorts. Find a battleship with little to no cruiser cover, pop the engine boost consumable, charge, launch torpedoes, pop smoke, sit in the smoke and wait for enemies to disengage . If any cruiser or destroyer attempts to pursue you through your smoke, unleash your 10 torpedo broadside once they get close, they will regret attempting to pursue you.
Pros:
- Good rate of fire
- Good concealment
- Large torpedo salvo with fast reload
Cons:
- Slow gun traverse
- Very short-ranged torpedoes
- Worthless AA
