Fenyang — Pan-Asian special premium Tier VIII destroyer.
Yoizuki, an Akizuki-class destroyer, was built at the Uraga Docks. She participated in the war in the Pacific Ocean. In June 1945, she hit a mine and spent the remainder of the war under repairs. After the war, the ship was used to transport Japanese soldiers back home. In August 1947, she was transferred to China as part of war reparations. While part of the Chinese fleet, the ship was named Fenyang and was sent to the Republic of China Navy in 1949.

Player Opinion
Pros:
- Good main battery range and turret traverse speed
- Outstanding AP/HE shell velocity
- Improved AP penetration angles, comparable to USN heavy cruisers
- Good HE fire chance
- Good AA suite for a destroyer
- Good torpedo range, detectability, damage and flood chance
- Very good hitpoint pool
- Decent concealment with all the relevant upgrades
- Access to five (5) different consumables, each in its own slot
Cons:
- Underwhelming main battery rate of fire
- HE shells have a mere 17mm penetration and require IFHE to deal with same-tier destroyers
- Very light shells quickly lose speed at long range, making hitting far targets difficult
- Torpedoes are DW (deepwater) and cannot hit destroyers and cruisers
- Only one torpedo rack with a slow reload speed
- Large ship, with low top speed and large turn radius for a destroyer
Research
As a premium ship, Fenyang doesn't have any upgrades to research.
