HSF Harekaze — Japanese special premium Tier VIII destroyer.
Kagero-class training ship of the Yokosuka Girls Maritime High School. She is operated by the main character Akeno Misaki. The ship mounts experimental modules that allow her to travel at higher speeds than her sister ships at the cost of stability. In the series, reduced personnel by automation allows for a single class of 30 students to operate the ship.
From the series "High School Fleet".

Upgrades
The recommended upgrades for HSF Harekaze are as follows:
- Slot 1: Main Armaments Modification 1
- Slot 2: Aiming Systems Modification 1
- Slot 4: Propulsion Modification 1
- Slot 5: Propulsion Modification 2*
- Slot 6: Concealment System Modification 1
Upgrade Slot 5 provides players with two viable options. Propulsion Modification 2 may enable HSF Harekaze to dodge a torpedo salvo by rapidly accelerating out of the way, or quickly ambush an enemy ship after waiting behind an island. Steering Gears Modification 2 may prove to be a life-saving upgrade in close-quarters combat with an enemy destroyer, or in situations where evasive maneuvers such as weaving or zig-zagging become necessary. However, HSF Harekaze's stock rudder shift time is already fast at 4 seconds. It can be argued that Propulsion Modification 2 is a better choice for this reason.
