Marco Polo — Italian special premium Tier IX battleship.
As part of the cooperation between Italy and the U.S.S.R., a project was created for a ship with nine 406 mm main guns placed in three turrets. This project was never implemented. If such a ship had been built in Italy, she would have had 406 mm main battery guns developed on the basis of 381 mm guns, and she would have been ready by 1940 or 1941.

Player Opinion
Pros:
- Access to large caliber SAP shells, which can deal large amounts of consistent damage to lightly armored targets
- Good AP pen for 406mm guns
- Midsection is very well protected against most HE shells and HE bombs with a 55mm deck and 70mm upper belt
- Decent maneuverability and speed
Cons:
- Long reload of 36s, though this can be reduced to 31.7s
- Short main battery firing range of 19km
- Accuracy is mediocre and can be frustrating at times
- Average concealment
- Lacks access to the Exhaust Smoke Generator that the Italian cruisers and high-tier battleships get.
