? +Mysore is a premium Commonwealth Navy version of the Royal Navy's Fiji at Tier VI. While many of her core traits such as hull, handling and shell characteristics are similar, the removal of torpedoes and addition of Crawling Smoke Generator significantly changes her playstyle. In essence, Mysore shifts focus from damage output and concealment to mobility and careful positioning. Mysore has a similar rudder shift and a tight turning circle in comparison to Fiji but a tier lower at tier 6. Mysores utility, range and armor synergise well with her maneuverability.

?<!--+Mysore shares the same hull as Fiji, with a small 51mm mid-section deck and an elevated, stepped central citadel. Upon closer inspection Fiji has 13mm bow and stern armor, whereas Mysore has 16mm. As a result, Mysore can resist damage from most Heavy Cruisers in her matchmaking spread when angled. Notable exceptions to this are Graf Spee, Congress, and the French Large Cruiser branch, which can land penetrations at all angles. This armor difference lets Mysore keep her guns more active between Crawling Smoke uses.
?PERFORMANCE SECTION GUIDELINES+
Armament

?1. Write a brief intro paragraph of 1-3 sentences.+Mysore is armed with nine 152mm guns in triple turrets in an AB-X configuration. Like other Royal Navy light cruisers, her guns fire short-fuse AP shells. The shells deal 3300 damage, compared to Fijis 3100, and fly faster, arc less, and penetrate more armor. However, Mysores guns reload in 10.7 seconds compared to 8 seconds on Leander and Fiji, which makes her guns feel more like a heavy cruiser. Because of these traits, Players should carefully aim for the superstructure on heavily armored and angled ships. Mysore lacks torpedoes, leaving the ship vulnerable to aggressive opponents. Finally, Mysore carries good anti-aircraft for Tier VI, with decent mid-range damage over time and long-range flak. Unfortunately, like most other ships in tier, this will not deter skilled Tier VI carriers.
?2. Write 1-3 paragraphs of "meat". Talk about what the ship does well, what it doesn't, how it compares to same tier ships of the same type, how it compares to the previous ship in the tech tree, whatever. Try to avoid quoting vital statistics to players unless it is really relevant (i.e. concealment); they can see those in the sidebar on the right and don't need them read back. +
Battle Performance

?3. Write a brief summary paragraph of 1-3 sentences highlighting the key takeaways from the paragraphs above.+Mysore is equipped with Crawling Smoke Generator, Hydroacoustic Search and Repair Party. These consumables build upon her other traits, and give her some respite from aircraft and space to recover from errors. While most Royal Navy Light Cruisers are limited by their static smokescreens, Mysore is better able to keep all of her guns active. Notably, the ship's frontal Damage Per Minute potential exceeds most other Tier VI Light Cruisers. As a result, Mysore can play relatively aggressively against lighter enemy ships, while positioning carefully against enemies with large main guns. In the hands of a captain that can position carefully, Mysore has the potential to influence most battles, even when uptiered.

The Ship

Mysore is a premium Commonwealth Navy version of the Royal Navy's Fiji at Tier VI. While many of her core traits such as hull, handling and shell characteristics are similar, the removal of torpedoes and addition of Crawling Smoke GeneratorGenerates a smoke screen that allows the ship to remain undetected at slow speeds. significantly changes her playstyle. In essence, Mysore shifts focus from damage output and concealment to mobility and careful positioning. Armor

Mysore shares the same hull as Fiji, with a small 51mm mid-section deck and an elevated, stepped central citadel. Upon closer inspection Fiji has 13mm bow and stern armor, whereas Mysore has 16mm. As a result, Mysore can resist damage from most Heavy Cruisers in her matchmaking spread when angled. Unfortunately, like most other ships in tier, this will not deter skilled Tier VI carriers.

Battle Performance

Mysore is equipped with Crawling Smoke GeneratorGenerates a smoke screen that allows the ship to remain undetected at slow speeds., Hydroacoustic SearchWhile active, detects all enemy ships and torpedoes within the specified radius, without regard of obstacles such as smoke and terrain. and Repair PartyWhile active, restores a percentage of the ship's health points each second..

Pros:

Cons:

 • No Torpedo Armament
 • Large stepped citadel vulnerable to battleships and big gun cruisers
 • No High Explosive shells means damaging angled targets requires careful aim
 • Relatively slow reload

Research

As a premium ship, Mysore has no module upgrades to research.
