Nassau — German Tier III battleship.
In 1903, on the proposal of Kaiser Wilhelm II, the development of a new armored ship began. In 1906, a design featuring turrets armed with two 283 mm guns and enhanced anti-torpedo protection was approved. SMS Nassau, built at the Wilhelmshaven dockyard, became Germany's first dreadnought. After World War I broke out, the battleship provided cover during the attack on Scarborough. In 1915, she participated in an attempt to penetrate the Gulf of Riga. In the Battle of Jutland, the combined efforts of Nassau and Thüringen led to the sinking of British cruiser Black Prince.

Player Opinion
Performance
Pros:
- Faster reload time than any other Tier III Battleship
- 1.8 sigma makes her accuracy superior to contemporary battleships.
- Very tough armor, difficult to citadel
- Bow has enough armor to deflect most shells from other battleships.
- Long-range and high damage secondary guns melt light ships.
- Despite having the most smallest-caliber main gun in Tier III BBs, shells can still inflict good damage.
- Can point six guns fully forward and all her batteries have excellent shooting angles that allow angling and shooting.
Cons:
- While it has a 1.8 sigma, it still has terrible dispersion and misses a lot.
- Vulnerable to fires due to the lack of deck armor.
- Low top speed
- Poor AA protection
- Bad detection range, most enemies will shoot at you before you see them
