 +The New Mexico-class battleships of the United States Navy, all three of whose construction began in 1915, were improvements on the design introduced three years earlier with the Nevada class.

Because US battleships tend to have excellent anti-aircraft suites and poor secondary batteries, captain skills which increase the defensive abilities of the ship are recommended.

Consumables

New Mexico can equip the following consumables:

Players should consider using premium consumables in the following order of priority: Damage Control Party (When activated, instantly repairs fires, floods, and incapacitations, and prevents more for the duration.), Repair Party (While active, restores a percentage of the ship's health points each second.), and Spotting Aircraft (While active, a spotter plane circles the ship enhancing main battery firing range.).

Camouflage

Type 1, 2, or 5 camouflage can be equipped for credits; Types 2 or 5 are recommended at a minimum to reduce the accuracy of incoming shells.

Players who wish to spend doubloons can equip New Mexico with Type 16 camouflage which reduces service costs, lowers her detection radius, reduces the accuracy of incoming shells, and increases the amount of experience she earns.

Alternatively, the 2018 New Year raid campaign provided captains with the Snowy camouflage with the same bonuses as the premium.
