By then ''Novik'' had already been scrapped four years prior.
+* Hull (B) is fictitious; ''Novik'' was armed with only six 120mm guns. The eight 120mm gun configuration only existed on ''Zhemchug'' which is of the ''Izumrud'' class, a variant of ''Novik''.
+* ''Novik'' was completed with a white hull and yellow funnels. She was repainted in dark olive prior to deployment in the Pacific. Both schemes are currently missing.

Player Opinion

Performance

The Tier II Russian cruiser displays many of the qualities typically found in the beginnings of the Russian cruiser line, namely numerous fast firing guns and good firing range. It differs to most of it's competitors in that the ship has decent armor for a Tier II.

Pros:

  • Decent speed.
  • Long-range fast-firing guns.
  • Good armor, on par with German counterpart Dresden.

Cons:

  • Low HP pool.
  • Slow shell speed.

Optimal Configuration

Upgrades

The recommended upgrades for Novik are as follows:

Commander Skills

Consumables

Novik can equip the following consumables:

Camouflage

Type 1, 2, or 5 camouflage can be equipped for credits; Types 2 or 5 are recommended at a minimum to reduce the accuracy of incoming shells.
