Player Opinion
Performance
Warning. The data presented in the AA Defense sidebar section may be incorrect.
Pros:
- Massive alpha strike potential on all squadrons.
- Has access to jet boosters.
- Long attack range allows squadrons to begin their attack runs outside of AA range.
- High rocket penetration allows attack aircraft to comfortably attack almost all cruisers and most battleships.
- Versatile skip bombers can set multiple fires per run and deal massive damage to destroyers.
- Large plane reserves allow for multiple consecutive flights of the same squadron.
- Low hull detectability and long-lasting jet boosters allow for rapid cycling of squadrons at close range.
Cons:
- Terrible aircraft cruising speed and maneuverability.
- Attacks are relatively easy to dodge due to their long preparation time.
- Squadrons are universally ineffective against bow-in targets, compounding the above issues.
- Low aircraft HP and all-at-once attack runs makes ships with stealth AA capabilities extremely threatening.
- Has a citadel similar to Kronshtadt, which is extremely susceptible to receiving citadel hits when improperly angled or when bow-on to high tier battleships.
- Lack of aircraft speed and staying power makes Pobeda inefficient at spotting and other teamplay tasks.
- Playing her can occasionally result in your getting reported by several members of the enemy team due to sheer frustration.
Research
Availability of researchable upgrades for Pobeda is as follows:
- Hull: Upgrade to Hull (B) for a significant improvement in AA. Research of this module unlocks progression to X Admiral Nakhimov.
- Attack Aircraft - Yakovlev Yak-9U for minor improvements, but double the rocket loadout.
- Torpedo Bombers - Tairov Ta-3 for a few more HP, slower turn-around, and improved torpedoes.
- Skip Bombers - Sukhoi Su-2 with much better bombs.

Camouflage
Type 1, 2, or 5 camouflage can be equipped for credits; Types 1 or 5 are recommended at a minimum to reduce detectability range.
Players who wish to spend doubloons can equip Pobeda with Type 18 camouflage that lowers her detection radius, reduces the accuracy of incoming shells, halves her service cost, and increases the amount of experience she earns.
