Player Opinion
Pros:
- Relatively fast for a cruiser, nearly able to out-run some destroyers in a straight line.
- Fast reloading torpedoes with a 10km range.
- Sharp turn radius for a Cruiser.
- Has some degree of Armor, second only to the Furutaka, also has access to Exhaust Smoke Generator.
Cons:
- Second slowest reload speed of all tier 5 Cruisers, only Furutaka is slower. Turrets also have sluggish traverse speed.
- Torpedoes are the slowest among all tier 5 tech tree cruisers. They also are the 2nd weakest and the Montecuccoli only packs 2 per side.
- Standard Exhaust Smoke Generator only has one charge.
- Can be fairly prone to Engine or Rudder incapacitation when under repeated fire.
