Shinonome — Japanese special premium Tier VI destroyer.
One of the first Fubuki-class destroyers, with an incredible striking power from her three 610 mm torpedo launchers. The ship significantly surpassed preceding-class destroyers in terms of artillery firepower. However, her AA defenses were weak, which was characteristic of all Japanese destroyers.
This reward ship can be obtained by completing the campaign "Honorable Service" since ver. 0.5.15.

Player Opinion
Performance
Shinonome is a tier VI premium IJN destroyer, and people will immediately see her similarities with Fubuki, as they are sister ships. However, while Fubuki only has four guns in two twin mounts and 10km torpedoes, Shinonome has six guns in three twin mounts, and 8km range torpedoes. Fubuki's torpedoes travel 10km and have over 16k rated damage, while Shinonome's torpedoes only have 14400 damage. This makes Fubuki's torpedoes far more dangerous than Shinonome's, Shinonome's guns are far more potent since she has two more of them. Both ships share the IJN DD line's slow turrets, which can make fighting at close range tricky, especially against US DD's. Overall, anybody who is familiar with the playstyle of the IJN DD line will feel right at home with Shinonome.
