?PERFORMANCE SECTION GUIDELINES+
?1. Write a brief intro paragraph of 1-3 sentences.+''{{#var:ship_name}}'' is equipped with dual-mounted 457mm main guns, mounted in four turrets. A full salvo unleashes eight shells which tend to be reasonably accurate, meaning that ''{{#var:ship_name}}'' has a very high potential to inflict devastating damage to an enemy foolish enough to show their broadside. Her large-caliber armor-piercing (AP) rounds are capable of penetrating thick armor to reach the citadels of armored ships. Players are advised to switch to high-explosive for lesser armored targets in order to avoid overpenetration. ''{{#var:ship_name}}<nowiki>'</nowiki>s'' HE shells sport a decent fire chance, as well, adding another incentive for using this ammunition type.
?2. Write 1-3 paragraphs of "meat". Talk about what the ship does well, what it doesn't, how it compares to same tier ships of the same type, how it compares to the previous ship in the tech tree, whatever. Try to avoid quoting vital statistics to players unless it is really relevant (i.e. concealment); they can see those in the sidebar on the right and don't need them read back. +
?3. Write a brief summary paragraph of 1-3 sentences highlighting the key takeaways from the paragraphs above.+Similar to her sister-ship, ''{{#var:ship_name}}'' has an effective [[Repair Party]] consumable which, when combined with a survivability build, means that she has the power to restore quite a bit of health when needed, and her excellent concealability affords her further ability to retreat and take full advantage of this consumable. The Defensive AA Fire consumable provides a boost to the effectiveness of her already powerful AA armament. ''{{#var:ship_name}}'' is truly a formidable opponent, whether she be fighting naval units or aircraft. She can be customized and equipped to fit several different offensive or defensive playstyles, and she will surely be seen excelling in her captain's desired role.

Special

Thunderer — British special premium Tier X battleship.

After Vanguard was laid down, the further development of British cruisers was aimed at increasing their dimensions. Among the options was a project with 457 mm guns that had been developed after World War I for battleships and battlecruisers of projects N and G.
