Vermont — American Tier X battleship.
During World War I, in the midst of the dreadnought arms race, designers were given complete carte blanche. Seven battleship designs were proposed with maximum capabilities and performance. There was only one restriction—the battleships had to be able to pass through the Panama Canal. The initial design was more conservative compared to the others. The battleship carried twelve large-caliber guns placed in four turrets, was reasonably fast, and had very strong armor.

Player Opinion
Pros:
- She's equipped with twelve 18 inch guns (457mm) giving her the heaviest broadside in the game with a massive alpha strike.
- Her 51mm central deck armor will shatter most cruiser HE.
- She has access to Defensive AA Fire .
- 38mm covers the midsection of the hull allowing her to bounce AP shells when angled.
- Good main battery firing range.
- 3rd largest HP pool in the game, right behind Großer Kurfürst.
- Decent main battery dispersion, which can be improved further with Artillery Plotting Room Modification 2 .
Cons:
- Slowest tier 10 battleship in the game, with a base speed of 23 knots. Combined with her sluggish maneuverability, she will struggle to disengage from engagements.
- Despite having 38mm covering the mid section of the hull and a large HP pool, Vermont is prone to taking large chunks of damage even when angled. Making her reletivly fragile.
- Standard battleship Repair Party , which is inferior to other U.S. battleships.
- Very slow reload time of 40 seconds.
- Shells do travel slow, making long range shots very difficult.
