Weymouth — British Tier II cruiser.
Up until the late 1910s, the British Navy built cruisers that weren't designed to act as reconnaissance and squadron patrols but were used for this purpose regardless. In 1909, they resumed the construction of the First Class cruisers. Sturdy and fast ships of the Weymouth type gained the respect of British sailors. Having entered service in 1911, HMS Weymouth participated in the hunt for the German raiders Emden and Königsberg. Between 1916 and 1917, she operated in the Adriatic Sea and British waters.

Player Opinion
Performance
Pros:
- Solid rate of fire on main battery guns.
- Largest health pool of non-premium Tier II cruisers.
- Longest firing range of non-premium Tier II cruisers.
- Best armor in her tier (for what it is worth).
Cons:
- Not terribly maneuverable; much longer rudder shift time than her contemporaries.
- Large detectability radius.
- Lack of high explosive shells and torpedoes makes her damage output somewhat inconsistent.
- Doesn't have access to the Repair Party consumable like the rest of the British cruiser branch does.

Upgrades
With only one upgrade slot, Weymouth doesn't have many options to choose from. Main Armaments Modification 1 is the best choice of those available.
Commander Skills
With no AA worth mentioning and no high explosive shells available, Tier 1 and Tier 4 skills for Weymouth commanders are something of a conundrum. Basics of Survivability and Survivability Expert are probably the best options available. Most other tiers have a couple of decent options to choose from.

Consumables
As a tier 2 ship, it has access to only repair party, and thus the only recommendation is Damage Control Party II.
Camouflage
Type 1, 2, or 5 camouflage can be equipped for credits; Types 2 or 5 are recommended at a minimum to reduce the accuracy of incoming shells.
Signals
Equal Speed Charlie London can be equipped to quickly grind through the ship if you find it painful to do. You can also mount Zulu Hotel if you're looking to train your commander and carry him through the line with you. Hotel Yankee can be equipped for fun, if you're looking to ram some destroyers. India Yankee can be helpful when fighting other ships that spew HE non-stop like St. Louis or Emden.Gallery
