Team based XP

Please add back in the "team based" experience gains, such as "The more your team damages the enemy, the more experience each player on your team gets. Only damage to a killed enemy is taken in account."

That's never been removed, it's the second row to the "After the battle" part of the table. It's not just for killed enemies, however (if you have a recent source stating otherwise please let me know). --Snib 11:59, 25 February 2012 (UTC)

Detection & Camo

About detection and camoflauge mechanics. There is two pictures which try to show that you have to be completely inside bush to be able to gain from bush camoflauge. However in detection mechanics section it is described that detection is based on three different beams. Both cannot be true. Part of the tank visible from bush, but not hit by the beam have no effect. It can't because that part is not checked.

Can this part be clarified?

Sorry about that. However, the currently listed math for armor sloping was VERY wrong when I looked at it, and still is. I see that Snib is currently working on it, so I hope it turns out well - Siriothrax

Large parts of this page have been incorrect for a long time unfortunately. Sorry for locking this page down, it's taking a bit longer than I originally hoped, too, but we'll get there eventually. All help is actually appreciated, but for now it's much easier for me to keep a lock on the entire thing due to the way I edit it locally. Should hopefully get done in the next couple of weeks but another large project related to the upcoming 0.7.2 changes to tank stats might delay it a little. Doing my best. Work in Progress Status

I am currently undertaking the effort to rewrite this entire page. It was originally conceived in closed beta days and needs updating to the status of the game today and what we learned about it in the mean time.

So far I have rewritten the following sections:

  • 1 Matchmaking
  • 2 Tank Stats
  • 3 Crew Skills
  • 4 Experience and Credits
  • 5 Capturing the Base
  • 6 Visibility
  • 7 Movement
  • 8 Aiming
  • 9 Accuracy and Dispersion
  • 16 Crew Voice Messages

Rewritten means that everything that's in the listed sections at this time should be correct to the best of my knowledge, however there may still be information missing that I will add later.

All sections not listed are still up for a rewrite and may contain incorrect/outdated information.

Once I'm done rewriting it all I will review the entire page before eventually removing the Work in Progress tags and letting everybody edit the content again. Thanks for your patience.

I was thinking that you might want to mention the effects of being hit by HE on vehicles with an open turret/cabin. Maybe under the Armor section right after it mentions the thin top armor. --Trifler 09:49, 29 February 2012 (UTC)

0.7.2 Terminology Changes

I went through and did a Find/Replace for:

  • primary qualification --> major qualification
  • secondary qualifications --> skills
  • skill level --> training level
