::Sorry for missing this one. As to Grousers, I actually meant Enh. Suspension - you removed the compatibility details here which we now have however for every other type of equipment. Also you changed the order, moving the availability below the evaluation of the module, which is inconsistent with the order we have it for all other equipment. As to things incorrect, I didn't go through your list in detail, one that was incorrect that I remember was "all light tanks from tier 4". Also I remember I found it inconsistent (sorry, I guess consistency is my thing) that some tanks you identified by name and some by type/tier, e.g. you said "the French AMX 40", so reader thinks that's all for the French, but then later on you get back to French heavies. Might be clearer to group by either type or nation but not mix it. I also still think removing the mention of of auto-loader incompatibility from the list despite it being listed at the top is not optimal - when a user searches for their equipment they might not even read the note at the top. It still makes sense to list it at the top as well because it is a particularity to that equipment and a specific vehicle type, but if you insist on having only one mention I'd rather have it in the detailed list than on top.  +::Enh. Suspension - I hate the way it looks. The fact that so many of the German and Soviet tanks accept it makes saying "Most German and Soviet tanks" appropriate. Plus, nobody goes looking for a list of which German or Soviet tanks don't accept an Enh. Suspension. I'd like everything to have the availability listed below the evaluation of the module. My ideal is for only the Grousers to list specific tanks.
+::Rammer - I only identified tanks by name when there was a tier that had both tanks that could and tanks that could not use the module. For instance, I listed the French AMX 40 because it's the only French Light Tank that can use a Rammer. You're right about my not listing that it's for Light Tanks. I would change it to "The French AMX 40 Light Tank". They're actually already grouped in order of Lights, then Mediums, then Heavies. Ok I'll put the mention of the Autoloader back. --[[User:Trifler|Trifler]] 00:59, 4 March 2012 (UTC)

List of Compatible Equipment

i think we need a list of compatible equipment per tank

example wich equipment can use a Pz III there is a lot of tanks that can use some and cant use other, even with same tier or type of tank. there is no list anywhere at the website or wiki where is this listed, i can help if needed with my current garage to look wich equipments i can use on each tank (i have 37 tanks up to tier X

i will start collecting this data asap and then ofering it here.

I could give you a full list of that, but would probably be better to list that on each individual tank's profile?

Snib 13:15, 30 January 2012 (UTC)

PS: Might as well give it to you now, at least the most common equipment that does not follow clear rules:
Edit by Trifler: To get this to work I cut and pasted the following text into Notepad and saved it as a .CSV file. Then I opened the file in Excel (use any spreadsheet program).
You can also copy & paste into Excel and select "Text to Columns" function. Other spreadsheet software varies. (Snib 20:00, 18 February 2012 (UTC))

Added cyclone filter + enhanced suspensions to the list above; that should cover all equipment now which does not follow clear rules. If not let me know and I'll add it. (Snib 12:32, 26 February 2012 (UTC))

Additional Grousers

Another question: Are you completely certain about these? I have a Stug owner who tells me Grousers definitely aren't available for his Stug III. --Trifler 07:28, 18 February 2012 (UTC)

Game client thinks it can mount grousers, but server might theoretically be configured differently. Have no StuG to test, will have to see if I can find someone who has it. (Snib 20:00, 18 February 2012 (UTC))

To me at least, it makes sense to have a list of which tanks can use Grousers, so I don't have to look at every single German tank to see which can and which can't. I can't see myself needing to do that for any of the other types of equipment, because other equipment is more universal. Other people have asked me which tanks can and which can't use Grousers as well. --Trifler 07:28, 18 February 2012 (UTC)

Fair enough. Guess I'm a bit OCD, either all or nothing, but it's cool. I'll see to add some text describing availability limitations to those still missing it so we have it for all. (Snib 20:00, 18 February 2012 (UTC))

Suspension

Hmm I appreciate the work you did in adding contours for the tanks that can't use the Suspension Equipment, but 1) I think it's confusing to have a listing of tanks that don't have something when the others list tanks that do, and 2) I really think it looks better just saying they're not available on American or French tanks. I mean, it's something very few people ever use anyway. --Trifler 13:31, 26 February 2012 (UTC)

lol, you can bold the "not", or do away with the contours, or do anything else that makes it easier to understand, but if we list exceptions at all *looks up to discussion about grousers* it should be complete lists, otherwise you might as well go back to my original unspecified wording of "some tanks". Also I'll take a bet that there are more players using enh. suspension than there are players using grousers. (Snib 15:59, 26 February 2012 (UTC))
Not sure what you mean by "it should be complete lists" (?). I made some changes that I think match what you're saying, but let me know to be sure. --Trifler 00:56, 27 February 2012 (UTC)
I'm saying that if you list all exceptions for one piece of equipment you should do it for all of them, anything else is inconsistent. Also - just briefly looking over the diff - why did you change e.g. "all non-autoloading mediums except the PzKpfw S35 739 (f)" to " All mediums except the PzKpfw S35 739 (f)" when no auto-loader can fit a rammer? Don't have time atm to look it over in detail though. (Snib 02:01, 27 February 2012 (UTC))
Looking over it again that's not the only incorrect statement introduced by your changes. Please fix or go back to the previous version which was correct. Thx. (Snib 04:02, 27 February 2012 (UTC))
I did that because at the top it specifically says, "Not available for vehicles with Auto-Cannons or Autoloaders" so that's already covered. --Trifler 11:29, 27 February 2012 (UTC)

Revert

I read through all this stuff and I don't see anything new. Why did you revert the changes? Reverting it undoes a lot of things that I fixed. --Trifler 23:52, 29 February 2012 (UTC)

Because parts of your edit were incorrect, plus the removal of the correct info for grousers - I rather insist on an all or nothing approach here. Your changes are not lost, they are still in the history, but since this had been up some days now I figured I'd revert it now to make it the info correct and whatever is missing now can be added again. (Snib 00:34, 1 March 2012 (UTC))
I guess I need you to list exactly what is incorrect, because I'm not seeing it. As for the Grousers, there are no changes between the two versions. --Trifler 03:32, 1 March 2012 (UTC)
Sorry for missing this one. (Snib 03:10, 3 March 2012 (UTC))

Enh.
Rammer - I only identified tanks by name when there was a tier that had both tanks that could and tanks that could not use the module. --Trifler 00:59, 4 March 2012 (UTC)
